Emergencies in Primary Care
Simulated learning to help your team grow in confidence
As part of the West Kent Simulation Team we have been running immersive clinical scenarios involving common medical emergencies that can occur in primary care since 2019.
These highly valued sessions allow surgeries to witness their multidisciplinary teams in action and "test drive" their emergency procedures.
This has been shown to be highly beneficial, for both clinical and non-clinical members of staff.
After each scenario, participants will have a debriefing session lead by one of the faculty. This will focus on soft skills such as teamwork, communication and human factors and explore these in more detail.
